Seriously though, this is a super vulnerable post for me to share. I haven’t stood in front of a camera in a bikini in nearly 4 years, since my babymoon for Brock!!! I am only ***1 week*** post #mommymakeover and I’ve got more healing to do, but I am damn proud of my body (and extremely grateful to my ‘partner in plastics’, @contouredbydrcourtney!!!) These photos are NOT retouched or edited. The swelling in my stomach will go down soon, I’m rocking a blood drain on my hip, and I’m still a little bruised up. But I’m thrilled with what I see so far. I’ll share more of the specifics in my stories, so head there to see my before & after “in motion” ♥️ This body has birthed two amazing little boys. It’s enabled me to win the highest awards in journalism, and to change laws that will long outlast my life. To be an all-state volleyball & tennis player. And it’s even treated me kindly when I’ve put it thru the ringer. But it was also in need of some tweaks — for me and no one else. I’m sharing my journey so publicly with hopes that I can inspire others to take the reins if they so desire. You only live once… so let’s make it count. 😘
